ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This standard establishes the functional requirements that will ensure that products and services are accessible to all people; for example, from a mobile phone, to computers, to web pages; thus, the requirements for the web are based on the WCAG 2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, developed by W3C, in line with those indicated in the Spanish standard UNE 139803, 'Accessibility requirements for content on the Web'.

 

 

 

EN 301 549 v2.1.2 (2018-08) “Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services” specifies the functional accessibility requirements applicable to products and services that include ICT (websites, software, native apps, documents, hardware, etc.). It also describes the testing procedures and evaluation methodology to be followed for each accessibility requirement.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 are the latest version of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) Web content accessibility guidelines.

 

 

 

The norm  EN 301-549 v2.1.2 (2018-08) It is aligned with WCAG 2.1 and therefore introduces all the changes incorporated in the latter: new conformance criteria, new guideline “2.5 Entry Modes”, etc.

It is also worth mentioning that in this new version the pre-existing conformance criteria in WCAG 2.0 have not been modified, not even their numbering.
